July 4th Boat Parade

The ever exciting and competitive boat parade will be held July 4th at 1:00 pm. Entrants must register at Knotty Oar Marina prior to the event. Entrants are assigned a number which is to be displayed prominently on their watercraft for judging. The number can be constructed out of anything you like but it must be visible to the judges. The parade forms on Upper Prior Lake near Charlie's on Prior at 1:00 pm. Entrants are requested to circle the judge’s pontoon marked by the Prior Lake Association banner, in counter clockwise loop. The Sheriff's boat leads entrants and on completion of judging, the Sheriff leads parade North under County 21 bridge to Lower Prior. Prizes will be awarded in 3 categories: runabout, pontoon and other (fishing boats, jet skis, paddleboards, etc.). To protect the waterfowl living on Prior Lake: NO WATER BALLOON THROWING!!!
