Prior Lake Clean
Up Day 2008
Join us for Prior Lake Clean Up Day and Annual “Dive
the Lake”. The
Prior Lake Association has partnered with a group of
SCUBA divers from the Prior Lake
area to sponsor a Lake Clean Up Dive on Saturday June 14th
from 8-12 at Captain Jacks.
The dive has been a huge success the last couple of years and has
attracted over 60 area divers to help clean up our lake.
Divers are asked to provide their own equipment for the dive.
The Association members have provided the participating divers with a
boat ride to their dive location.
We will again be looking for volunteer boaters to bring divers to
their designated dive areas, so keep the date open.
The divers will be bringing up debris from the bottom of the lake,
but don’t worry about your boat getting dirty, we will provide dive bags and
tarps to keep your boat clean.
The divers will be awarded prizes for various categories; Largest, Most
Unusual, Oldest, Most Valuable and more. The
divers will also receive an event t-shirt.

The City of Prior Lake is also designating June 14th
as the official Lake Clean Up Day.
They are asking lakeshore owners to take the day to clean up their
own beach area or adopt a city park beach to clean.
