Lake Cleanup – “Dive the Lake”

7th Annual ‘Dive the Lake’ – Saturday, June 11, 2011

J oin us for Prior Lake Clean Up Day and Annual “Dive the Lake”. The Prior Lake Association has partnered with Captain Jack’s, the City of Prior Lake and local SCUBA divers from the Prior Lake area to sponsor a Lake Clean Up Dive. The dive has been a huge success the last few years and has attracted over 60 area divers to help clean up our lake. Divers are asked to provide their own equipment for the dive. The Association members have provided the participating divers with a boat ride to their dive location. We will again be looking for volunteer boaters to bring divers to their designated dive areas, so keep the date open. The divers will be bringing up debris from the bottom of the lake, but don’t worry about your boat getting dirty, we will provide dive bags and tarps to keep your boat clean. The divers will be awarded prizes for various categories; Largest, Most Unusual, Oldest, Most Valuable and more. The divers will also receive an event t-shirt.

ALL Divers must pre-register. Call or email if you have questions or would like to help Donna Mankowski @ 952/440-5503 We can always use boaters willing to take divers around the lake to their dive sites.
